I took in a 2016 Hayterette which started but idled only and was told, on a visual examination that because I had overfilled the oil the engine was a write-off. I was then offered 40 for the mower as spares. A Sudbury workshop subsequently drained the oil, refilled, ran the engine up and returned the mower in full working order for 46. I have given one star because you can't post with none!

Man running this place saw a woman coming and thought it was payday! Told me my mower had pretty much had it (it needed a service) and that it was purely burning grass due to the blade. Maybe he needs to realise a few women know their stuff! Blade was not burning my grass whatsoever, however I wanted it serviced as it hadnt been done a while. Instead he tried to get me to buy one of his, insisting it was "ready to cut" and that if I didnt, they would be all gone as it was "mowing season". Beware, this one thinks he has the ability to see into his crystal ball and spot the gullible women! Avoid
