        What has happened here? Rude unhelpful barman,eager for you to leave ,9pm on a Friday evening stopped serving. A one off hopefully?? Would give 0 stars if possible. What a shame.

        This pub has been a favourite of mine for 47 years. The management has changed in that time, but it still has that certain je ne sais quoi that brings me back time and again. An excellent juke box, friendly customers and staff and I love the wizard lurking in the corner and the gargoyle on the bar.
