Pizza Hut Delivery

Excellent! I have already posted a Google review as recommended by the pizza hut telephone operator at ditherigton road, Shrewsbury, who was also very friendly and helpful, praising the delivery driver 'saul' who's name I was given and the overall positive experience. I will no longer order from any other pizza company other than this one for numerous reasons including being charged twice at different amounts for an unwanted order the next day, plus a non existent customer care line to resolve the issue. I would fully recommend pizza hut at this branch, I have also had a very positive dine- in experience with friends at the branch in the moele brace retail park.

Great service. Delivered exactly when promised. Driver, Saul, was very friendly. We will be ordering again soon. Keep up the great work.

We ordered for delivery at 7.20pm and it was due at 7.50pm. After 30 more mins (late) the driver called to say he was knocking at the door. It turns out the wrong door miles away. So I then gave him the correct address accepting that the Pizzas will be cold now but we needed to eat as our child was up way too late now! We waited a further 30 mins and still nothing as it should have taken around 5-8mins from that address. We called the store and the guy who answered the phone was the most unprofessional person I have spoken to in a long while he basically didnt care and said the driver had gone off to a different location and said to me we had two choices wait a further 30 mins for the driver to do the drop off and then deliver what would be very cold pizzas or they could re cook the pizzas and send out in an hours time which of course would be unacceptable. So I complained about this and the guy on the phone start being quite angry and after I asked him to calm down he put the phone down (this is unacceptable I run a marketing agency covering a lot of food restaurants). My partner (who is a teacher) then called and explained the situation and spoke with the same guy on the phone who proceeded to lie to my partner saying I was swearing at him on the phone, my partner was in the room with me and explained that I do not swear. He also said there are no guarantees that the order would arrive within an hour as there might be other issues on other orders! Anyway the outcome was we didnt get our food Our little one had to have something else and we had cheese on toast as too late to cook anything! So the guy on the phone really needs retraining or just sacking to be fair and that place really needs to book up their ideas!

Pizza was supposed to arrive at 20.30. It arrived at 21.52 - I was no longer at the delivery location so I didnt receive the food. The shop stopped answering phone calls after 20.45, so I had to drive to the shop to work out if the shop was still open or not and to request a refund which they would not do in store.
