Unfortunately, very poor. I never write reviews but feel this definitely needed one. First off, I booked a contact lens appointment, I was running 5 minutes late so called to let them know but they turned the tables and actually said sorry my optician is stuck in traffic and my appointment has now been cancelled and will have to rebook. So I rebooked, went in and had to wait half an hour to go in, the optician asked if I could see the letters I said yes going down and he said that because I only wear my contact lenses for football they will be fine. So I went on my way. A few weeks later and I realise my eye sight is really not good enough, can't see indicators when driving etc, so book a new appointment. I went in for my appointment, got told I would be seen in a few minutes, I sat and waited for an hour and 15 minutes to be called into my contact lens appointment and the optician had little to no apology. He asked me to read the letters and he said my eye sight was fine and met regulation standard of reading the first line. I explained that even the first line is blurry though, he then questioned whether I was new to wearing contacts (no been wearing them 13 years) he then put one lens in front of my eye asked if it was better (of course it was) and another in front of the other then concluded ok he will put me up by 0.5 on both and that will sort it. I am pretty sure this should be done much more precisely, I used to have glasses put on me and all different lenses put in to work out what was best (did all of that just used to be pointless?) Anyway everything just very unprofessional, slow, maybe nice people but terrible at their jobs and frankly I think just don't care and want to do things just to 'meet regulation' rather than getting you to see the best that you possibly can. Would not recommend this store.

Been attempting to call for 3 days now and not getting through. When I have got through i have been hung up on. Waiting over 2 weeks for my glasses now. And was told 2 weeks.

Found Louise at Shrewsbury opticians very rude she needs a disability update.you should not treat a lady in a wheelchair as if she is deaf and dumb.
