The Barchester homes in Shropshire are real jewels in the crown! Such a warm and friendly welcome always awaits at Mount House,..from both the lovely staff and the super residents, making each visit an absolute pleasure! Rachel, receptionist/front of house, has her heart in this special home and always makes you feel welcome and appreciated. Joyce (activities) is always busy providing a fresh and topical theme to the attractive notice boards, great effort! The care team are attentive and genuine..Barry and Claire are fabulous, the atmosphere is relaxed and fun..too many of you to mention but I absolutely love my visits to entertain the residents and find myself looking forward to every visit.

My poor grandad came to this place for temporary care and only a few weeks later he passed away. He was neglected no drinks, in a filthy room. Should have been watched when taking his tablets but worst of all was he had a life threatning illness that nobody seemed to pick up on. Telling our family he is fine and eating and drinking when he wasn't he was very poorly and they only told us when it was too late. Oh and he got covid too and they didn't tell the family. Utter disgrace and I will be complaining to the authorities regarding his treatment.DO NOT SEND YOUR LOVED ONES HERE PLEASE SAVE YOUR FAMILY THE HEARTBREAK.
