        I have used Halfords garage in Shrewsbury for a few years now and went online to book my MOT in plenty of time to get in on a Saturday to fit in around work. The website would not let me book in at Halfords, only National Tyres so I choose to just go with it. I arrived early as requested and the staff looked at the van and very casually said that they couldn't do the MOT as the van doesn't fit on the lift but they would just refund the money. I booked this 7 weeks ago and details of the vehicle were taken at the time so it was hugely annoying, inconvenient and disappointing. Staff did not seem bothered and there was not even a mutter of an apology. Sort out your website and bookings system National Tyres / Halfords!

        Ok not necessarily the cheapest But by far the most helpful and friendly staff you will find...so it was a pleasure to shop there.

        Have used this branch over the last couple of years for MOT tests mainly. They have the vehicle in, tested and out again in good time and communication is good. I have also had track rods/suspension joints changed at this garage (didn't fancy cracking out the spanners ). They fitted it in last minute and at a reasonable price. Will use this branch for my older vehicles too hopefully
