From the initial contact I made with Jason the owner of Hornby Garden Designs it was a professional, courteous and responsive service. Once we made the appointment to speak through my requirements, Jason was prompt and gave a thorough consultative approach all round. He listened carefully to what our objectives were and then gave knowledgeable advice on how best to achieve what we wanted. He was never rushed and took time to consider a number of options as my garden was not straight forward. After the meeting as promised the quote arrived clearly stating all of the options and a detailed breakdown of each element, making it easy for us to choose the bits we wanted to move forward with. From the first day of the job until the last Jason and his team were prompt, polite, worked very cleanly and were respectful of their surroundings. As with all jobs of this nature as it developed we tweaked one or two things and again nothing was too much trouble for the team to adapt and modify quickly. After all of the major groundwork was done, what I particularly liked is Jason visited a number of times to do the planting over a number of days, never rushing at all, always making sure the finished design was perfect. We could not be happier with the finished garden and patio design and it has transformed a once bleak lawned area and tiny patio into a somewhat Mediterranean chilled outdoor living space with borders on all sides packed with an array of different shrubs and flowers. I would recommend Jason and his team to anyone and I think for the quality of the work it is an extremely great value for money service. I considered a number of local gardening service before choosing Hornby and from what I could see their work was of high quality.
