Friendly, welcoming, very clean. Excellent comfortable bed. Sadly early start meant no breakfast but the smell of bacon etc as so tempting. Jo was keen to ensure everything was in good order. Very happily return.

Jo took me in at the last moment and gave me an ensuite double room with a great shower. It was spotless and comfortable with facilities for a brew. I turned up on a bicycle and was able to store it securely and access it when I needed to. Jo does a lovely breakfast and is friendly but not intrusive. I'll be back!

Honestly I told the hostess from day one why I was there, to do my final exam across the road and made sure she new how much of a big deal this was. Regardless while on my break she would pester about trying to move me to a smaller room as she had other guests coming that needed my room. Not my problem ! I paid for it !!!! I told her that I will be happy to move out of the room but i will not be staying and she said that I was ment to be booked in the smaller room anyway. On top of this, I paid for a cooked breakfast and she burnt it. She even told me she burnt it and served it me anyway with a shrug on her shoulders. As soon as I finished breakfast she would ask me to move as more people were coming for breakfast and I was in the way......... well I did have some burnt breakfast I was trying to digest. When I first got there, she told me that as we had discussed on the phone there will be parking available, but the day before I was about to depart she starts pestering again about moving my car as she needs that space now. She also started having a less welcoming demina towards the last day ..... Probably because she had been given the cash and thought sod it !!! Oh and she only takes cash, probably off the books as her business is falling to bits. Overall I'm not the first am2 student to have complaint about this place so if you are in the area or coming to do your am2 exam, it is more convenient to go down the Travelodge.
