Whenever we visit Shrewsbury, on the run-up to Xmas, we have to call into Vinegar Hill. The items here are not mainstream, and you can find nice gifts that are a little different for friends. Shop has a cosy feel, too. Can get a bit difficult to browse when parents are pushing buggies down the narrow aisles between displays, so make it an early or late visit on your shopping trip.

Very rude staff on Christmas Eve! In all the years I have shopped here I have never received such terrible and abrupt service from the staff. The two rather large ladies behind the counter complained they had been quite all day and just before closing they had customers, complaining they had to do some work. Shocking service. I will never return to this store again. There are better shops in Shrewsbury with nicer staff
