When we got there after a long day we were gob smacked. The place seemed closed down. A To Let sign was under sign. Weeds every where & an abandoned car with flats in car park.Something fell off the entrance porch as we stood there.Had received info on key access. Room was clean but no Wifi code, Fire escape info, welcome pack infact no paperwork at all. The shower controls were very stiff even for my husband.Met another guest who said the same & said only cereals on view in dining area. No Restaurant open or any sign of staff until the next morning. My booking said Continental brekkie. What a joke it was just cereals ! A man appeared at breakfast when we complained he became very rude & blamed my booking agent. He wouldnt give us a part refund. The place is going down hill no one cares by the seems if things. Just dont go here needs closing down. The photos advertising this place are not any where near how it is now.

I am only giving 3 star for the Manager who worked his socks off! we went to a Christmas meal for 25 people and he was mostly the only person serving. The meals were shockingly small for a Christmas menu, and the drinks overpriced, the food was nice, just not enough of it, especially for the men in the group, absolutely no atmosphere, no music, and no stuffing! Also no Bacardi, what pub doesn't have Bacardi???? Sorry cannot recommend

Food fantastic, service very sweet but pub is outdated and dark but clean tidy and did i say food is fantastic (for burgers and chips anyway and homemade !! )

Lovely pub, kids loved playing the board games and pool, wish it was more local

Great food in restaurant in evening. Uncomfortable bed, no breakfast in morning, even the coffee machine wasn't working.
