Went here for a brass doorstop and padlock.
The doorstop was fine, but the padlock might be a bit too big.
I have been going here for many years, and find them to be better for variety price and value for money when shopping for ironmongery, than B&Q.
They don't do late evenings or weekends, but they're likely to have what you want, with friendly service.
Stating the obvious, but I'll return.
