Tried calling for my ill son 8am soon as they opened 40 mins later on hold lady answers and cuts me off! Absolute useless. My son isnt even 2 and needs to see some one . Then they tell me there is no appointment left

I have been at this surgery for over 15yrs and have notthing but great experiences here, since covid has impacted and all the villages have merged the surgerys , it shocking, I very rarely go to the doctors and god help the older generation that cannot do a e consult form or work a smart device , even speaking to a receptionist is hard going . When you do really need to see a GP , you be in trouble

Absolutely disgraceful surgery. Tried phoning for an appointment, but told by the automated system there weren't any and to do econsult. Tried that and it came up to try again tomorrow, so went down to the surgery. Was greeted by a very rude and unhelpful receptionist who said there were no appointments and to do econsult or try calling them (pointless when i am already there!!), which I explained I had already done with no luck, and that I needed to be seen urgently. Was told very bluntly that I couldn't he seen. I called 111 and within half an hour 111 had called me back, assessed me over the phone and booked me into the Urgent Treatment Centre at the hospital. Cannot fault 111 for their quick response and helpfulness, but the surgery is terrible and a waste of time.
