The free collection service was great. The charge of 90 for switching a light off with no further guarantees was expensive but acceptable. The recall work for under sealing was fine, although the vehicle was returned with some soiling from it. The biggest bugbear was that the car, which had failed its MOT was returned by being driven back, despite having been collected on a low loader. What was worse was that the guy who loaded it noticed a loose wheel arch liner which he said would be reattached; it wasnt and the liner was physically ripped out by driving it, also damaging the bumper. This was fixed quickly, for free, without fuss and with apology but the bumper damage was left so it was returned and the damage improved, if not to a standard entirely as it was. Finally, it had failed its MOT partially because of a faulty horn. This was diagnosed as a failure of the stalk and a quote was made for 340 for the part plus 90 labour, the expense blamed on the cost of the part and a lack of aftermarket options. Ten minutes later I had a 15 unbranded replacement on the way and had watched an online video showing how, with four screws and a snap in connector, it could be replaced. This I did and saved over 400. I am disgusted at both the markups, the misinformation about parts and the vast overestimation of time. I would add that all the staff I dealt with were polite and courteous and helpful when there were problems.

Drakes is a superb garage. Everyone is so willing to help, polite and courteous. The car delivery and drop off service is so helpful when you have a young family. I trust their judgement when they assess the car and know their work is good quality.

Fantastic service . Got a puncture just outside garage and pulled onto forecourt. Friday ,late afternoon ,imagined they would say nothing they could do. Exactly the opposite, immediately checked the car, did not have correct tyre in stock but drove to supplier to pick one up. Changed tyre whilst I sat in reception and offered coffee to keep warm . Outstanding service , excellent price and speedy service . Main dealer should be proud of them . Restored my faith in dealerships . May even return when need next new car. Well done to all.

Overall a good experience from drop off to collections. Unfortunately, when I was returning home through Driffield a warning light came on indicating that I may have had a puncture and I had to return to your garage. The matter was resolved within a few minutes probably with a computer reset.
