        A beautiful cottage in an idyllic setting. Nice village location with a pub 2 minutes walk away. This would be a 5 star review but the cottage does need a bit of updating. The bathrooms are a bit tired and the plumbing is antiquated. The kitchen is too small for the number of people the cottage sleeps. We were there for Christmas week and it took a lot of planning to be able to prepare and cook Christmas Dinner. Our dogs loved it. The small back garden is totally enclosed which was great for them. Lots of local walks which they also enjoyed. The WiFi is essential if you want to be in contact with the outside world as there is no phone signal. Unfortunately it rarely worked despite the owners rebooting it several times during our stay. The owners are lovely and being next door was really handy.
