Czajka Care Group

We were really happy to get mum in this care home. Unfortunately, she was only there three weeks when it was announced it was closing. As my mum has advanced dementia I feel as though her welfare needs were not met, this was not down to the carers or the manager (who were also unaware of the closure) who I can not fault in any way as they were fantastic for the short time she was there, but I feel we should have been made aware by the owners that this home would only be temporary and we were then expected to relocate to one of their other care homes quite a distance away. Definitely a matter of cash before care.

Wouldnt recommend for anyone to work for this company. Always short staff also when you had to discuss something personal to the management they would go telling others. One of the biggest reasons why I left.. I think it is a disrespectful and unprofessional place. Even when you had problems no one cared to sort it out . Its a toxic place. Worked 3 years and never got appreciated even though we all worked so hard during covid.

10/10 would not recommend working for this company, understaffed and underpaid doesn't even cut it, couldn't even go to the people higher up in the home if you had an issue with anyone or anything because they would discuss it with other staff, very unprofessional

I am at Stavely Birklees and have for a while now. Here always have agencys and not enough staff of there own. Some of staff are very nice but some are just rude!!!!! I think if managers all hired more then it wouldn't be a problem anymore. Good food and friends and Bob but that is it
