Having home-schooled my daughter since she was 5, I had long suspected dyslexia was a key issue in her struggles with the written word. Neither the local authority or GP was able to refer her for assessment because she's home-educated. Fortunately, Yorkshire Rose Dyslexia introduced me to Bo and since then I haven't looked back. Initially Bo provided us with a detailed assessment of my daughter's dyslexia along with a list of resources to help her. Since then Bo has tutored her every week for two years and this has really helped my daughter (who, it turns out, also has dysgraphia). When I needed to apply for a scribe to enable my daughter to take a GCSE this summer, Bo's supporting statement and evidence were instrumental to us getting her the allowance she needs in exams. Bo is incredibly patient, understanding and my daughter enjoys being tutored by her.

Im 20 and have used Grove Dyslexia's services in order to apply for Disabled Student Allowance with Student Finance England for university. There was so much confusion for me when trying to access DSA but Bo knew exactly what we needed to do. She's also very kind and helpful and was happy to answer my many questions. I would recommend Grove Dyslexia if you are in my position. I'm in a much better place now as I know I'll be going to university accessing the help that I need.
