I was on a waiting list for 8 months after my initial phone assessment in 2021. The in-person sessions then consisted of me being talked at for an hour by a therapist spieling off what sounded like a script of all the scientific reasons behind why it's my fault I'm depressed and suicidal. I didn't have the chance to speak about how I felt without being interrupted. All it did was make me worse.

Had to wait 3 months to get put on a course and by the end was left worse than I was when I started. I was crying my eyes out and begging to talk to a therapist when they decided to discharge me and all the woman said was "Well according to our results you're doing better, so come back in 3 months if you still think it hasn't helped" and hung up. It's been 2 years and frankly the only reason I feel better is because I know I will never go back again.

I waited weeks to get a consultation then I was interrogated by a cold uncaring 'professional' who did not seem to have any empathy and I was in tears which as a usually stable person I should not be made to feel this way, at the end of the long interrogation they just gave me the number for another company, useless service AVOID

You miss one assessment and they immediately discharge you. And then you have you have to wait a whole month to be seen again. What a great way to thin out their workload. To get any help these days you have to fight soo hard. Its bloody draining
