The Bridal Boutique Saltaire

I had the most fabulous experience at The Bridal Boutique. It was my first time trying on dresses and wasnt sure what to expect, but the ladies were so welcoming, kind and reassuring through the whole process. They let me try on as many dresses as I wanted and the selection was really varied. I ended up saying yes to the dress and Im so pleased I chose to come here. Thank you!

I had mixed experiences during my dress shopping weekend but this was one of the top ones and they could not have been more helpful and kind. Very friendly, patient and knew exactly what would work and not on me. I fell in love with a dress but we had another appointment booked and unfortunately the dress in the second shop was just more suited because of the uniqueness however I would have bought from this shop in a heartbeat. Highly recommend and especially if you are nervous or self conscious like I was.

Avoid their cleaning service at all costs. I took my 3,250 silk wedding dress to The Bridal Boutique Saltaire (previously knows as Louise Perry Bridal) for a professional cleaning that included a steam press and presentation box almost a year ago. On return, the dress was shriveled and crumpled and still had clear marks on it including a lipstick stain on the front. I complained and asked them to fix the stains and properly steam press my dress. She agreed to take it back, but even after the second attempt, there were white marks all over the dress that hadn't been there before, there was still dirt on parts of the dress, and the fabric itself had strange lines through it (that I later found out were water stains), and the fabric had shrunk so that it was hanging above the lining. It was completely ruined and wasnt fit to be worn. I took my dress to a dry cleaners for a second opinion, and by some miracle they were able to fix almost all of the damage that Taylor had caused. Taylor is lucky that they were able to fix her damage, as otherwise she would have been liable for the full cost of my dress. Instead, all I wanted was a refund for the clean. I asked Taylor for a refund several times, but she refused and instead told me to go through small claims court, which I did. Today I got a letter confirming that I have won my case and that Taylor must repay me, so I finally feel comfortable posting a review and sharing my horrific experience to warn others not to use this shop for wedding dress cleaning. They are not cleaning experts and do not understand fabric. I cried and cried over the damage Taylor caused to my wedding dress and want to ensure no one else has to go through what I went through.
