A friend and I, with three little dogs, stayed two nights recently. We each had a room with its own shower room, and enjoyed good own-choice breakfasts. The house is spotlessly clean, there is a fridge to keep dog food and, perhaps because there were only two of us, we were allowed to have the dogs with us in the dining room. Dorothy was warm and welcoming.

Great location and local food is good. Lakes are very beautiful, but this b & b is NOT for dogs! You are made to leave your dogs in the car when having breakfast, there's nowhere to feed them so you have to do it in the garden, no water supply to give them water, and you feel like you are intruding in someone's house. Breakfast was good but had to rush due to leaving the dog in the car. Only visit if you don't have a pet.
