Park is nice green area, but upon walking in with kids we could smell various things being smoked...! Not great for the small people (or anyone really!) Wasn't impressed with the doggy do do that seemed to have been left, and when we went down to the football area the ground was incredibly muddy. The park does have a playground split into two sepererate areas that the kids enjoyed.

You'll love this neat and highly historic place, local and friendly, nice spots with benches

Lovely park but the amount of dog poo on the grass and paths just spoilt the experience..not the fault of the council as they have put plenty of bins around the park but obviously there's a group of dog walkers who don't pick up. It's a pity because with all the spring flowers coming through it would have been really lovely.
