Splendid service! On a Sunday afternoon, water started to run from the ceiling and down the wall of a ground floor room in our house. We didn't know whether it came from a bathroom, hot water tank or roof tank. John Neal quickly helped us to identify the leak as the underfloor waste outlet from a bath. On site, to save disturbing the bath and its joint with the tiles, he had to cut away flooring under the bath. The push-fit connection of the U-bend had come loose. He quickly reinstated it and secured it with timber to avoid a repetition of the problem. We were so delighted with the neat job that we got him to re-silicone a shower tray while he was there. Lovely clean and tidy job. Very reasonable price. We will use John (and his lovely dog Jasper) for our boiler service next time.

Absolutely fabulous service. Not being local to the area we needed to find good, reliable and honest tradesmen cross all professions to help out with unexpected issues at our holiday rental in our absence. A few heating engineers let us down and we were beginning to fret until we came across John at Southend Plumbing and Heating. We have had to call on John 3 times his year, twice to assist with boiler issues and once to replace a faulty shower. Each time, he has been quick to respond and he genuinely cares about the urgency of getting things right quickly for our guests. He will be looking after our annual gas safety checks and boiler services going forward. I honestly don't believe we could be in better hands. Thanks John :0)
