No 5 Coffee House

Meals were lovely, unfortunately spring cake was dry, think it's just been out too long. Our main complaint was the woman working there was quite rude. The young boy was lovely and polite. The woman was very snappy in his she answered and when we said thanks and goodbye she didn't respond at all, but the boy did. Wouldn't go back again just based on that unfortunately

We popped in for a drink and bite to eat. Was asked if we booked, which we hadn't, but we were happy to fit in where possible. Decided to just have a coffee and cake as seemed easy for both us and the cafe as they were busy. Then the owner proceeded to have a hissy. Even shouting across the cafe that if anyone else comes in moaning at her (which we hadn't btw, we were perfectly polite) they shouldnt be let in. What a disgraceful attitude to regular customers. The waiter then didnt bring us a menu or offer to take our order, even though others around us were being served. Not sure if that was intentional, but hey ho. We've been coming here for literally years and spent a great deal in there. Not again. This is the 2nd time recently we've had an unwelcome here, we let it go last time and decided not to make an issue of it, but this wasn't pleasant today, so unfortunately resulted in this review.
