Sherfield Oaks

Played the willow course and enjoyed being out on the course. A few bits of feedback. Course has lots of bunkers under repair at the moment, this is ok, but I think we wouldnt have booked if wed known. Not knowing the course, it would have been good to have been offered a course guide or have pictures of the holes on the scorecard so you know which way the doglegs go. Also an idea for yardage would be helpful unless you happen to see a yardage disc, youre left to estimating yardage one final bit of feedback. There was a birthday party in the clubhouse with obnoxiously loud music playing. Not what youd expect coming down the 18th.. also the beers were 6 a piece. Overpriced for the venue IMO. Overall, an average experience.

Played the Waterloo Course on which both the fairways and green were in excellent conditions despite recent poor weather. The staff are both friendly and helpful adding to a wonderful experience here. The bar is well equipped along with a great choice of food at the restaurant post round. Will be returning soon to play the second course and would thoroughly recommend playing here.

Although it was a very wet day on arrival and the Club House was packed with expectant golfers at the start, everything was running like clockwork and the staff were very attentive and everything went to schedule with no delays. Great atmosphere and the course held up as well as it could. Great to see work being carried out on the course to improve it. Will be booking up another day this year and try and book the weather as well next time.

Excellent service, food absolutely superb , course considering weather of late , great,.would be happy to recommend Sherfield Oaks , and look forward to another round there
