        The original Saxon church dates to around 1190. The church and the lycht gate was designed by Edwin Lutyens. He also designed a few cottages in the area, including the Bray family. The huge oak chest dating 1200 AD. This church featured in the film "Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason."
