I asked the young man on the counter about a part worn, or a repair on the existing tyre. He advised me that they no longer provide part worn tyres, and after looking at the damage, he recommended a new tyre rather than a repair. He stated it was a borderline repair, and I was inclined to agree. As I'm planning on upgrading all of the wheels soon, I opted for a budget tyre. It'll serve its purpose in the short term.
52 fitted, and less than half an hour after arriving, my family and I were back on the road.
