Bought from the auction on 23rd February paid promptly by bank transfer even though the postage was as much as the item purchased apparently special delivery which is normally next day however after 3 emails sent a week later they only responded to the third email and then to say sorry we sent your lot to someone else and now awaiting them to send it vack amazing enough it was sent the next day and delivery on the small parcel stated 7.45 much less than I paid

Worst auction house I have ever dealt with. Bid on item Oct 2022, waited for package to arrive, and I waited, no sign. Emailed auction house, received a short curt reply with a 'tracking' number, no courier Co or postal service mentioned. I rang the lady who was unhelpful and told me she was busy. The "tracking" number didn't exist, it was just a barcode from receipt. Several emails, no sign of parcel. Jan 2023 I receive an email to say parcel was returned to auction house. Whether it was returned or not I had to pay for shipping a second time. I received parcel yesterday. I will never buy from this auction house again, most unprofessional, no customer service...

This was my first online auction purchase and I was travelling from the Cotswolds to collect my piece. After my alarm went off at 6.30 (for my 3 hour drive) I went to check the postcode and suddenly realised that I hadn't "booked" an appointment, merely detailed the time I was arriving on the payment comments and had received no acknowledgement of it. As it was such a long trip down I thought I would politely text the number both on the website AND on the invoice before I left, apologising for missing the booking requirement but saying that I hoped it was ok to arrive for collection at 10am. I was so excited driving down, the dog and I love a road trip and we duly arrived a couple of minutes past 10am. What I was met with was the rudest welcome that I, as a customer, have ever experienced. To be told "your text at 7am wasn't appreciated" as an opening gambit, to be frank, floored me. Don't get me wrong, no one likes to be woken up too early on a Saturday morning but three little pieces of advice may ensure that doesn't happen for you again: 1. Don't put your personal mobile number on your website and on the invoice. 2. If you must do (1) then use the handy "Do Not Disturb" function that most modern mobile phones have and set those times to ones that are acceptable to you and your sleep patterns. 3. Most mobiles have a "silent" function - consider using it Lastly, in a world where you can be anything..... be kind! Treat your customers with the respect they deserve or they will never return. PS: the guy was VERY nice and VERY helpful, it was just the woman who had clearly rolled out of the wrong side of bed (at the sound of my text) PPS: the item is lovely - no complaints there!
