Alfred R W Connock & Son Funeral Directors

I thought I was dealing with a family run business but no this is a massive faceless company. They have their way of doing things and don't want to waiver from it. The pomp and ceremony they encouraged is nothing but ridiculous, who wants a hurst being escorted out of their premises but a woman in a top hat? I employed their recommended celebrant, a very pleasant man, but total waste of money, he tried rewriting my eulogy! Worst of all after the funeral, I was phoned many times for a feedback as to how I thought it went, really? , just as i was starting to stop shaking from being bereaved I am reminded again and again.

I cannot recommend sally and the team at shepton enough. Ive had to use them on 3 occasions in the last 4 years and every time they have been fabulous. Feel like they are friends now. They think of everything essentially at this time when you cant think straight. The support they gave is second to none.

I would highly recommend Alfred Connock Funeral Directors They dealt with me professionally and with compassion with regard to the loss of my sister. They dealt with all the arrangents making as easy for me as could be expected .

We had to go through this sad experience twice in 2019 after loosing Mum in July & then Dad in October. The expertise, compassion and thoughtfulness of the staff at Alfred R W Connock was remarkable, the care, love and attention to detail they showed made a whole situation more manageable than we could have hoped for. I truly believe that my Mum & Dad could not have been treated any better.
