After first being told my daughter was no longer eligible for NHS treatment I agreed to pay for private treatment. At the initial appointment I was given a treatment plan and signed to agree to the plan and the (extortionate) costs. Booked and paid for the treatment in advance. AFTER the treatment was carried out Ive been contacted to say I owe a further 109 as the computer missed off a filling on the treatment plan. I explained I wasnt happy and that was not what I (as the parent) had agreed and signed for. The dentist herself told me, as a gesture of goodwill for the mistake she would forego the payment for the filling BUT at the cost of my daughter no longer being a patient at the practice! It is bad enough that we have to pay for childrens dental care, let alone being treated that way after paying the best part of 500!

Recently had an appointment, wasn't told my NHS dentist was leaving, they said a letter was sent, it wasn't, receptionist was not pleasant, friendly or welcoming in the slightest. Had an emergency appointment for tooth ache, was seen 3 weeks later, they spent less than 5 seconds looking inside my mouth to do an emergency checkup, did a scan, then told me there wasn't anything wrong. I now within a few weeks have ongoing pain in my mouth - still now have tooth ache, but don't want to pay again at this place, and they didn't even offer to refer me to the nearest NHS dentist that was accepting, and they didn't even know how to find out. Complete disregard for patients care
