        Oakley Road Park features Shepshed's only BMX Pump track , a zip wire, a new adult trim trail, half a muga area, an enclosed toddler park with slide and a large play equipment piece for older children. The skate park lets the park down as sadly is very run down and needs updating. Oakley Road Park also has Shepshed only Parkhour Park which is free to use and very modern. There is access to the Blackbrook stream and surrounding country views. There is a woodland bmx bike track in the woodland area near the stream. There is a free to use car parking and access to the public footpath to Piper wood. For those that play Pokemon Go there is 1 gym and lots of pokestops here. It is well worth a vist with your Pokemon.
