While we tell the cats they are going to camp, with the river and gardens a tSplash Meadow it is more like a retreat! Eve and Michael have intermittently looked after, given injections to and even taken our cats the the vet over the years. We are so grateful for their fantastic care!

Cats appeared to be well looked after but the attitude of the owner was appalling. When we first visited she was lovely and couldn't have been anymore accommodating. Once she had our deposit and we turned up on the day, she was a completely different person. Did not want us to take our cats into the cattery to settle them. Complained about the amount of stuff we had bought with us, despite telling us to bring as much or as little as we wanted. Complained about my senior cats soft bed as it might slip off of the top shelf! The ramp supplied for cats to climb up on was way too steep and narrow for a cat of size or with mobility issues. I explained that 1 cat took her medication daily direct from the syringe, she was very dismissive of this and said 'huh, we' ll see'. On collection cats are already in their carriers in the hallway of the house, she wants them and you gone immediately! She didn't know my cats names when I collected them, referred to them as males and 'he', when they are females. Told me on the first day she put the medication in the food bowl! With 2 cats in one enclosure you NEVER do this! It's incredibly dangerous and you have no idea who has taken it! After that she confirmed that, surprise surprise I was right and my cat did take it direct from the syringe! The botton of the cattery is solid so the cats have no view and can't see out unless perched up high. No isolation pens for if one is taken ill, risking the health of other cats in the facility. I would never use this place again or recommend to anybody. I would only ever use The Cats Whiskers in Feltham and am full of regret for trying to save a few pounds and trying this place
