Nick and his colleague did an excellent job of repairing and staining our old pergola. He originally arrived quickly to offer a reasonable quote, offered alternatives to keep the cost down but was complete in the range of the work to make sure it would be structurally sound. He quickly scheduled the work, arrived as scheduled and he and his colleague completed the repairs and preservative stain in less than a day, also disposing of the rotten timbers. It was refreshing to find a skilled artisan who communicated well, offered options to reduce costs, was transparent in the pricing and worked to the agreed schedule.

Nick installed a loft hatch, fitted out a utility cupboard with shelves, made plinths for kitchen cabinets and moved a dog flap to another door. The standard of workmanship was excellent and he wasted no time in getting everything done. He quoted accurately and with great transparency and responded to my emails with speed and efficiency. The jobs were considered by many of the carpenters to be too small to be worth their while which was annoying as they might be small but hugely important to me for one reason or another. Nicks attitude that no job was too small was refreshing and he has certainly won my vote for when I do my loft conversion. Service: Installation
