Volvo Main dealer charged me 400 to diagnose a faulty air conditioning compressor and wanted 1000 replace it. AC Engineering found nothing wrong with the compressor, changed a relay and the car was fixed. Many thanks

My air con packed in on way back from Germany last year. Decided to leave it to get fixed . Booked it in this week to local specialist here in Ayrshire Scotland . They diagnosed faulty air con compressor. Local Kia dealer quoted 552 for a new one plus labour for fitting. This company advertised a reconditioned one for about third of price. I ordered one for next day delivery. I didnt specify that I needed it same week as we were going on holiday next week. However when I contacted the company they confirmed model for my car (06 Kia Sorento) was not available off the shelf at this moment and would need built. Andy could offer a new one for 40 more couriered to local garage for next day lunchtime. It arrived as promised and was fitted and working by end of day by local specialised. Would definitely recommend this company for excellent communication responses to my email queries. Andy was very helpful. I posted another review about this purchase but it didnt seem to go. There was an error in that post with the price the Kia dealer quoted. This post is correct.
