The owners of this campsite must be campers themselves - everything is so well thought through and of high quality: the toilets are spotless, properly tiled and spacious, with plenty of hooks and shelves for stuff, the fire pits are stacked neatly on shelves and come with gloves and a wheelbarrow for transport to the pitch, and everything is sign-posted and labelled with beautiful and clear signs. The nearby woods are magical. We will be back to explore more.

We were there in the off season and had the whole place to ourselves. Toilet clean and the possibility to make a fire are great! The walk to the supermarket and pub is really nice but remember a flashlight for the way back. For the 5 stars we missed the showers, the electricity and some warm water when washing dishes or brushing our teeth. But all in all a place with great attention to detail and good for nature lovers. (Original) Dieser Platz eigenet sich super als erste bernachtungsmglichkeit wenn man abends mit der Fhre in Dover ankommt. Groe Grasstellflche und gengen Platz. Wir waren in der Nebensaison da und hatten den ganzen Platz fr uns alleine. WC sauber und die Mglichkeit ein Feuer zu machen sind super! Der Weg zum Supermarkt und zum Pub ist wirklich schn aber denken Sie an eine Taschenlampe fr den Rckweg. Fr die 5 Sterne haben uns die Duschen, der Strom und was warme Wasser beim Abwasch oder Zhne putzen gefehlt. Alles in allem aber ein Platz mit viel Liebe zu Detail und gut fr Naturliebhaber.
