I was very surprised and shocked by the way I was spoken to today by this member of staff that gave me 0 customer service. When I approched the till I noticed there was no greeting so I just said hi. Then I took the dress out that I purchased couple days ago for my child and said I would like to return this. She looked at the dress and ask me if the dress been worn? I said yes only once, then she looks at me and says, you wore the dress, your dirty it, you can't have refund. She repeated that few times looking into my face. I told her I didn't wear it. I didn't realise there was anything on the dress and I have no problem if you can't refund my money but what I have a problem with is the way you spoken to me in a very patronising, unfriendly way like I have committed a crime. I asked for manager she pointed into direction telling she is there walked away leaving me at the till not happy, chatting with her colleague. At that point I was quite upset so I told her to get the manager. She then goes and get the manager. When I was talking to the manager she then started an argument with me telling me to stop lying to her manager. So this is the way you trained your staff to speak to the customers? You can accuse customers dirty the dress and you call customer a liar. The manager defends it staff saying that she never received any complaints. The fact that she talked and argued with me infront of manager and the manager just stood there making excuses for her like said she was just upset and me customer is being treated like sh*t did not matter. That I customer have to be ok with the way I been treated and spoken to today because your staff never received any complaints before so that gives her permission to speak to me like that and I have to put up with it? That said everything to me today about that Monsoon. That was loud and clear enough for me to know that the management is poor and the store quality has gone down because of some people that work there. I did get my refund at the end, that was put on gift card. But the staff had such a bad attitude problem it was shameful. I always shopped at this branch and received decent customer service from other staff. Today this one staff changed my whole mind about shopping there again. Also I would like to remind them is because of us customers the shop is open and they have jobs and get paid. If there is not much customers your store will shut down just like many other Monsoon have. So many businesses are shutting down and people end up jobless Appriciate that you have jobs for now and treat your customers with respect because one day this store will shut down too and it looks like it will happen sooner then later with the customer service you providing.
