Caring for the elderly and less able members of our community requires extraordinary people with seemingly unlimited measures of patience and kindness. As we age, the human condition sadly means that many of us will become increasingly dependent upon others, literally for survival. Those who care for others know that all too often, the people for whom they care will often not acknowledge the dedication and professionalism that the Carer shows on a daily basis, every day. It can be a thankless task that calls for a unique blend of strength of character and compassion that few of us have. Carers are indeed special people to whom we owe a not inconsiderable debt. John was not an easy person to look after. He was once a very capable and contributing member of our society who could not easily accept that he was no longer the person that he was when younger. His diminishing faculties, compounded by a terminal illness would have on occasions made caring for him very challenging. Alina, a huge thank you to both you and your wonderful team for managing his remaining days with such warmth and compassion, that afforded him the dignity that he rightly deserved as his days became shorter and fewer. Never doubt that a small group of thoughtful, committed citizens can change the world: indeed its the only thing that ever has.----Margaret Mead

They took great care of my dad in his final year. I appreciated the kindness, care, and compassion the team at Wilton House showed towards my dad. I am grateful that they were able to provide a respectful and caring environment where my dad's needs were met. His care team showed him patience and tenderness throughout his time there. The care home manager, Alina, is especially dedicated to her work and her residents. It is clear that she genuinely cares for her residents (and their families).

A lovely caring nursing home. They looked after my Mum with a real love and care in the last months of her life. Their RGN is a total blessing.
