Having never wrote a review before, I feel that this one was truly worthy. Having woken up to no heating or hot water during the extremely cold spell a few weeks ago, I contacted Bradders and spoke to a lovely lady Barbara. I have used Bradders for my annual boiler services and a few other jobs over the previous years and have always experienced honest, friendly and reliable service from them. On this occasion I was aware that engineers were all experiencing a high volume of calls and call outs due to the extremely cold weather and snow and that it could possibly be a few days wait. Barbara called me back later that afternoon and informed me that their engineer Taylor would be able to pass by on his way home on completion of his other jobs. When Taylor arrived he was friendly and cheerful and was able to get us up and running again very quickly. I had a quote from what can only be called a rip off merchant, so I rang Bradders and asked for some advise. They put my mind at rest and told me that the quote I had received did not seem correct, we had been without heating for nearly a week and they rearranged there schedule to fit me in. I spoke to Barbara in the phone who is such a pleasure to talk to and Pete came in to do the work. Ive just moved into the area and will continue to use this company for as long as I need them. Ive had a terrible week with a boiler leaking from several pipes & valves through the flooring in the airing cupboard, ceiling and down a wall. Some parts were replaced by the manufacturer however he told me that my filter needed changing to stop the final leak and its not something that he would do. Thankfully I thought of Bradders as they were already booked for today to remove two radiators from my kitchen. I asked them to quote to replace the filter. Taylor arrived early for my appointment and removed the radiators swiftly and without any mess. He took a look at the boiler and instantly told me that the filter didnt need changing. He said that the leak was from a valve not the filter. He tightened the valve free of charge. He also found another leak under the boiler that the manufacturer missed. How refreshing to find a professional that didnt try to fit a part that was unnecessary nor charge for tightening a part to stop the leak. Taylor was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable and I will definitely be using his services again.
