I experienced my first 1:1 Sound Gong Bath yesterday. Wow what a wonderful experience I had. Kindness and compassion oozes out of every inch of Maria. I felt very comfortable talking about my issues with her. She is incredibly well informed about the holistic effects of the therapy and boy can she play those instruments which she tailors to your specific needs. As I entered the room the most beautiful scent filled the environment, the sight her amazing tools of her trade were displayed in front of me which was quite breath taking, I was so excited to finally be getting the chance to have my own personal Sound Bath. I felt so very special knowing that they were all just for me. We sat and talked through my problems which in itself was very helpful as she gives you reasons and explanations as to why you might be feeling this way. Then onto the treatment. I was engulfed in the beautiful sounds of brass and crystal singing bowls, a giant gong and a wonderful drum plus lots of delicate sounds from chimes which she played so brilliantly. The vibrations pulsate through your body. I didn't want the experience to end. I was surrounded by love and felt secure. I never felt rushed to get up and go which is very important as that can have a premature end to your treatment. I felt light and energised when I left. I was able to talk to my partner that evening about issues that need addressing. I have booked myself straight back in for another session. Thank you Maria for allowing me to experience that wonderful therapy. To others thinking about trying this I say open your mind and heart to trying anything that could potentially change your life. Holistic treatments are the way forward. If your make your body happy it will reward you with good mental and physical health. Sending love to all xx

Wow I have this morning attended Maria's wonderful Kundalini Yoga. 9.30-11.00am on a Friday morning. 90 minutes of me time. I had forgotten how much I needed it. After a summer of discontent, and an Autumn of emotional challenges I was feeling at rock bottom these last few weeks. This morning I woke and decided to attend the Yoga. It is a while since I attended for a variety of excuses that are simply that an excuse. But as soon as I walked through the door I felt like I was returning to the fold. Maria gave the biggest hug and welcomed me back with open arms. Kundalini is my favourite genre of yoga although some people shy away as they have heard it is spiritual and a bit spooky. It is calming, supportive, empowering and loving. Yes there is meditative movement, yes if possible you practice with your eyes closed. (I love this aspect, as it is totally me time) Yes we also use our voices - but you don't have to if you don't want to. The movement is challenging sometimes and breathing is connected to the movements. To end the session deep relaxation takes place and you lose yourself in the moment. Maria this morning used her bowls the sound resonating throughout the space and having a revitalising impact on myself. Would I recommend Kundalini to anyone? Yes I would. I have always been shy of Yoga as I am not very bendy or stretchy, But the movement in Kundaini is easy to transition to and very adaptable. Maria is a strong, skilful teacher with her students best interest at heart. Her sessions are powerful yet peaceful and you will walk out feeling so much "more" than when you walked into the wonderful space that is the Karma Hub.
