Poor quality item badly made, crease iron left scratches, tried to return the item and Tim the owner was very rude.

When I first encounter this knife was through online Leather Craft Master Classes; it seemed much straight forward tool than any other pairing knife that I have found. My biggest dilemma was the price point as I was beginner of leather craft who didnt want to spend lots of money and I knew a good tool can be economical with a quality. I needed to balance, price and workmanship that came with a tool. This knife serves its purpose: Hand Skiving, everyday for me and I love it! What I love about this knife is how slim the knife is so that I can skive to zero: Grain layer of leather. It is rough around the edges a bit, but you can easily put a layer of leather to meet your comfort! Thanks to George Barnsley & Sons to making this tool and I look forward to acquiring a round knife or/and hammer soon. ;)

I rang them enquiring about replacing a treasured lost leather knife. Nothing was too much trouble and they sorted it out immediately. Brilliant service, and great to know that this famous old brand is still there. Cannot recommend too highly.
