My son went here because I work at the hallmashire and it had good ratings, but the actual experience we had was awful. Whilst he was in the under 2 section there were a couple of carers who were really good, although it was quite clear that he was bored and under stimulated and would sometimes be unhappy going in. The main trouble started when he went up to the Iver 2 section, he absolutely hated it and conversations with the carers there made it obvious why. They would complain that my son had been flushing toys down the toilet and playing with their phone asif the issue wasn't that he was able to play in the toilet unsupervised in the first place., they also said that he was not speaking even though he would talk to me when I came to pick him up, mostly he'd ask when we were.leavjng and would be keen to leave. The carers seemed short tempered and talked about him with obvious disdain which is something I found disgusting. When we moved him to a child minder who had been absolutely brilliant, she even felt co.pelled to write to the nursery in complain t of the lack of paperwork and the clear lack of care given, he hadn't even been observed on basic development milestones which he was more than capable of when viewed by the childminder. Another issue we had at this nursery was the complete mess of accounting they had, whenever an extra day's care was needed a form would need to be filled out so that extra payment could be taken in the salary sacrifice scheme, however, these forms were pointless as I'd then end up being harassed with emails claiming I owed various amounts that never made sense. Once we'd left they calculated a last bill, took 7 pound less than they said they would and then a year later started emailing about how we owed 34.09 from somewhere. The whole experience was negative and just a headache that was not needed. I would not trust a pet gerbil in their care let alone your child.

It's a shame they need to spoil the vibe in this "good" (Ofsted) nursery where there are lots good and friendly staff, by implementing dreadful management decisions like imposing a 6 "fine" for being 5 minutes late picking up your child, and demanding you go straight to the office and hand over the cash!
