Luke's Place

Paid deposit for 4 people. Luke cancelled and since then (Sept 2021) has ghosted me despite numerous efforts to re-book. 40 gone through no fault of my own ?

Couldnt recommend highly enough...quality food, quality prices, amazing atmosphere. Went with my best friend for my birthday. What a treat Luke was amazing in every way Relaxed , attentive to his customers, explained what was on our plates and how he had put it together. Just incredible The food speaks for its self and every mouthful was yummy. Just 10 people sat around the cooking area watching Luke do what he does best . Think my friend will put pics on when she does her review (They are her photos).

After having our table cancelled at the last minute, we have been waiting for too long to receive a refund of the deposit we paid. This is a real shame as we had been excited to try out this place. It looks like we're not the first people to have to raise a complaint via Pay Pal to get the money back for a cancellation that Luke's Place made.

Fantastic, innovative cooking in a brilliantly intimate setting. Luke and his assistant made us feel so welcome during the Saturday lunch service and absolutely knocked it out of the park with the food. We'll be back again in 2022

I am kinda in 2 minds posting this. On one hand I want to be selfish and keep this place a bit quiet so I can book in again. On the other hand what an amazing food experience. Relaxed vibes. Great playlist. The food is incredible, especially for the price. As good as michelin star places I've been to. So I'd definitely recommend getting a reservation before this chef sky rockets. His passion comes through in the food. Evoking childhood memories through familiar flavours yet with totally different ingredients. You won't be disappointed
