First time I've been in for years ... certainly changed a bit .... unfortunately don't think I'll be returning any time soon ..oh it was ok but that was all...staff were efficient but not exactly over friendly....good selection of beverages to choose from....food wise we had a trio of thin crust pizzas....again nice enough but nothing out of the ordinary. In short , if I was passing I'd probably give it another try but I wouldn't go out of my way go again

Shocking food. Ive never seen beef brisket arrive with steak knives, and then resemble streaky bacon. Cauliflower cheese was a minute piece of cauliflower, the roast potatoes were rock hard and the spring greens were tough. The one carrot was pleasant. I found the Yorkshire pudding okay, my husband said that his was inedible. Another person had chicken wings which were clearly undercooked. Didnt bother with desserts. Never again.

I had a really delicious gluten free house burger today. They were ace with allergen understanding and despite being super busy (due to the teachers strike) with loads of unexpected family diners the staff were positive, polite and efficient. Having worked in the service industry for over twenty years myself I can confidently say the team did a great job. Superb all round.
