Eighteen Ten

Went there Sat 28th Jan for lunch. No ales on at all, which is a bad start for a marstons inn, as marstons are predominately a real ale brewer. Had to have a rather disappointing pint of spanish lager. Service was ok, if a little disinterested. Table wasnt clean, sauce bottles empty... Food was straight from the microwave (In response to the owners reply, if it wasn't microwaved then I withdraw this comment, however my food was EXTREMELY hot but also spongy/chewy, as though it was straight from a microwave..). I normally quite like marstons inns but wont be rushing back to this one.

i have given you a 0 for recommending to people as you close on 11/02/2023 otherwise if you was staying open it would have been a 10. sad to see this pub closing as its a very friendly place. downfall was we couldnt book online as it kept saying was fully booked same when phoned up but when we got there the place was dead which was a bit dishonest but was still a good couple hours of drinking before young voices concert at the arena.
