Great atmosphere. Always made to feel welcome. This was a great pub once but has consistently gone downhill over the past year or so. We walked there yesterday (Monday 24th April) to find it closed for repairs. Now I would expect some communication about this but there was none, not even on social media. Just another problem to add to all the others reported over the last year or so.

Really good pub food! Very filling got served in good time. Friendly staff and good range of drinks will definitely be coming back more

We popped in on a whim for lunch. 4 adults 3 kids ( because other local cafes were shut). The food took around 40 minutes to come to the table. The food came to the table a plate at a time. No pepperoni for the first burger. Burnt sausage on the mixed grill. Burnt pieces of chicken inside chicken burgers. Chicken wings, not quite burnt but they were so dry that they were not edible. Burnt garlic bread etc etc. The kids meal came out last. The staff tried to say that it was because a fryer had broken. After complaining I only paid for my drinks.
