Steve Delaney:Counselling & Psychotherapy

Had two sessions with the bloke so far and he is quite good! I was able to realise how my personality was structurally organised and how that affected me in just 2 weeks! I feel like I've gained some sense of clarity and direction already. UPDATE: After two months, I feel freed to pursue the central thing I want thanks to having all of my dysfunctional defences and resistances related to it removed and motivating factors from my formative years looked at. I can very clearly see how my anxiety/avoidance was formed from my experiences as an autistic child having trouble fitting in, in a way thats a lot more deeper, personal and has cleared a path for those difficult situations and the difficult feelings about them to be grappled with and come to terms with, which I was formerly unable to do.

I worked with Steve for nearly 15 years at Sheffield University Counselling Service as a fellow counsellor and at Sheffield Hallam University where we shared training responsibilities for counselling courses. Steve has gained considerable knowledge and expertise over many years practising as a counsellor and psychotherapist.
