    These letting agents are incompetent and show no care or compassion towards their tenants. From the day I moved in the red flags began, my mattress was soiled all over, I was promised a new one which never materialised during my tenancy. My walls were messy and completely covered in marks and blu tac, my drawers were dirty with crisp crumbs in. It was obvious that no one had checked the room before I moved in. Furthermore there were three bikes in the hallway blocking half the corridor (serious fire safety issue), there was no handle on the oven (serious health and safety issue) and it was not replaced for about a month. The oven itself was absolutely filthy and had clearly never been cleaned. To add to that, the tv remote was broken and didnt work. In addition, they took four days to take action in response to mice sightings in the property. No one from the agency even visited to check or seal the holes in the flat where the mice were evidently coming from. The staff show favouritism towards certain tenants with messages about people visiting the property only sent to them. Overall, I would not recommend at all.

    Agent going through my belongings, all members of staff manipulative & gaslight to try and bait you into owing money & getting rid of your deposit. Never provided with fire safety information until 2 months before tenancy finished! I had to cut down my alarm as it went off during the night & the number provided as directed by the company was dead. They have absolutely no compassion, barge in unannounced & enjoy bickering with tenants who are trying to enjoy their uni experience & gain independence. This company is absolutely shameful & the only thing I feel for these disgusting individuals is pity.

    Couldn't recommend Smart Property enough. They managed one of my HMOs for 5 years and made the entire 'landlord' experience hands-free and stress-free, even when I was living on the other side of the world. I had record-low voids, consistent rents and very low repair / wear-and-tear rates. Andy and his team were always friendly, professional and quick to act on any issues that arose.
