I really liked the staff when I use to go here as a child, but its the school curriculum that there was an issue with. I think it was seriously noticeable when going into secondary school, that the kids from other schools were learning more stuff than us. A lvl 5 in y6 for us was considered amazing as the average student was getting 4's. And thats just it! because the kids from other schools were preforming at 5-7, it set us back and made us have to work harder in secondary just to keep up. I never showed up in primary school. I probably missed around 20-30 days of y6 alone... but I still managed to make the same grades as my piers. For some student the curriculum wasn't stimulating enough, thats one of the reasons why I skipped school alot.

I started volunteering at Springfield in Y2 at the start of 2019 in preparation for my Teaching Assistant course. I then got a placement for my course starting in September 2019 and I am still there now. I don't have a bad word to say, friendly and talkative staff, a nice environment, everyone has been nice to me and I love the diversity both pupil and staff wise. I believe the children in my Y2 class enjoy school as much as any child does and I am more than happy there.

Awefull school. The staff are very unfriendly and rude to the kids but they only greet the parents nicely. Mrs May is a very disappointing and harsh teacher. My son cried on day and ran to me with tears in his eyes saying that she shouted at him I do not tolerate this disgusting behavior to my child. The food is acceptable and descant but nobody their is friendly. I would recommend you to go to Malin Bridge Primary School. It is the best. The rating of malin bridge is 5 stars . I will never ever go back to that school again!!!
