New management, same terrible service..came in to get a prescription then told to come back in a couple of days. Came back 5 days later made to wait 25 minutes then told they can't find me at all on the nhs system. So when i first came in they didn't bother checking anything yet said to come back in to get it... Happy to waste your time just to get rid of you. Avoid.

Regarding the service at my local Lloyds Pharmacy, yes there has been the odd time when I have had to wait 15-20mins or more for my prescription, usually because the repeat prescription has only just been received from my GP or simply that the staff have been rushed off their feet. However, as an ex senior pharmacy technician of 20yrs + NHS service, I urge customers to ask themselves this question, ' Do I want my prescription dispensed quickly, or SAFELY?' There are rules about safety around drugs and staff cannot be rushed into skipping them just because customers want it now! A prescription undergoes several checks before it is handed out to a customer - the 1st being to make sure that the GP has requested the correct drug at the right dose, as is exactly the case in every hospital pharmacy. When I worked in hospital it was nothing for a patient to be discharged at 10am and still be waiting for their 'Take Home' prescription at 4pm! It goes with the territory.

DO NOT USE THIS PHARMACY After my wife spent 30 mins in the morning to come away empty handed I returned in the afternoon to pick up her repeat prescription. After 40 minutes of waiting with no apology I was told to try a different pharmacy - only explanation, they couldnt download the script. Absolute jokers

Staff are friendly but more often than not they don't have a prescription drug in stock. This time I had to wait 20 minutes to find this information out. Hopefully the new management will get the business in order. What's the point of pharmacy if it can't dispense.

Seems to be the same story as all the other bad reviews on here. Front of house staff friendly, pharmacy staff are super rude, couldn't care less, 4 or 5 people working and crazily long waits. I went in 3 weeks ago to pick up a prescription for my son and was told there was nothing on the system so is it possible I could have changed where my prescriptions were sent. So I since visit Boots to see if it was sent there instead, and they simply looked on a shared online system and told me that my prescription had been at Lloyds since 22nd September 5 days before I tried to collect it. I went back again today, had to wait almost 25 minutes for them to 'look for it'. I asked why I had been told it wasn't there before only to be told by the manager that 'they wouldn't have said that, they would have said it was out of stock', which is absolutely not what I was told. I should have had an apology. Also tried to return a face cream that I bought on the first trip as the pump isn't working so can't use it, the same manager refused to replace it as I didn't have a receipt. I do however, have the payment on my bank account. Basically, awful service in every regard and never seem to have the prescriptions on their system. Worst pharmacy experience and will be moving. Steer clear.
