Updated _ after this complaint the area manager contacted me to inform me that he had arranged for more training and supervision for the person involved. It has now been 11 days and still no pain relief. Worst pharmacy I have ever nearly used. After being diagnosed with cancer I thought things can't get any worse. I have been without pain relief for 5 days now. I spoke with my doctor and explained the pain is keeping me up all night. The lack of sleep is making me feel suicidal and I can't take this much more. The GP did her best to reassure me this will get sorted and issued me a prescription. This was sent to the pharmacy next door with the promise of delivery. The delivery never came. The next day the pharmacy delivered my wife's medication but nothing for me. Eventually the chemist rung my wife (what happened to patient confidentiality and data protections) and asks if my prescriptios are free. Yes they're free. Why? He has cancer. Well we can't deliver this as he is down as paying on our books. So they actually think I would make up I have cancer to save a few quid. If you want to be treat like a liar and have your details discussed use these. However if you want to be treated with respect go to Boots.

I recently changed my repeat prescriotion to this pharmacy as it's close to my home and I was self isolating. Last minth (June) one drug was missing and I asked them to find out what the problem was. It took 3 phone calls 2 visits over 3 days before they said there was a problem with supply and I should ask my GP for an alternative which I did. The GP advised me to ask the pharmacist to suggest an alternative which they would prescribe. Another visit to Lo's who suggested the same drug available in 20mcg but not in my required dose of 40mcg. My GP issued double the dose of the 20mcg and I received the medication almost 3 weeks after it was originally prescribed. Today Jul 22nd I visited Lo's to ask if the 40 Mcg was available (still showing on my available meds list at the GP) or whether I should request double the quantity of the 20mcg. Assistant at Lo's said "Do you have a prescription, I cannot order without a prescription" I explained the problems I had last month. That I wasn't asking her to order just to check availability as they had done in June when suggesting 20Mcg to replace the 40Mcg that was unavailable. She refused saying "We need a prescription so we know what we are doing" Back at home I called Lloyds pharmacy if they could check availability. They did it while I was on the phone confirmed there was still a supply issue with the 40 Mcg. I asked if there was a problem checking availability with a supplier. She said "Not at all it's just taken me 30 seconds" The lady at Lo's who dealt with me today was the same woman who I mentioned in my last review (4 months ago) who whilst serving me stopped mid way to issue methodone to a customer who had just walked into the pharmacy. No explanation,no apology as if I had ceased to exist. Lloyds will have my prescriptions from today! visited to get treatment for a minor ailment under the NHS minor ailments scheme. I've had similar treatments at other pharmacies before without any problems. The first person I saw seemed unfamiliar with the scheme and had to find a guide to see if what I was asking for was covered by the scheme. Eventually I saw the pharmacist who wanted to examine me. She had difficulty finding the form I had to fill in. Once we'd completed the form she then advised me "We don't have the item in stock I'll have to order it. It will be available for collection later 11.30am tomorrow. Please make sure you arrive before 1pm when we close." I went to collect it at 12.00 the assistant I spoke to had to ask 2 people before she found someone who knew I was due to collect the medication. Despite giving all the information they needed the previous day I had to give it again and wait over 20 minutes while they input my information to be able to print a label prior to dispensing my item which, is a fairly common item. They had 5 staff working and an empty shop when I went in.It''s clear that the staff need more training and need to concentrate more on their work to prevent mistakes. I've heard from other local people where errors have been made with prescription meds. It''s nice to have friendly staff BUT being friendly and gossiping among themselves should NOT interfere with the important job they have to do. Wed March 4th As you will see I received a response from the owner saying that they would look at the matter "urgently" I was asked to provide more information to assist their investigation and I did this by email to the address supplied. I received an acknowledgement of receipt and a message to say that my information would be passed to the appropriate person. To date I've received no further information from them and there's been no further comment from the company. I'm not sure what their definition of "urgent" is clearly somewhat different from mine! As previously mentioned I am aware of a couple of elderly residents who have medication delivered and there have been errors so I think I'll speak to the and see if they would be willing to initiate complaints in the hope their issues which are far more serious than mine can be addressed.
