Last visited this shop as a child with my dad (Im now 40!). Forgot it existed until I needed a new pair of boots and my dad reminded me. Amazing customer service. Jamie and his grandad were extremely helpful and found me a fantastic pair of Keen boots that fit my feet like a comfy pair of slippers and fit my budget perfectly too! Will definitely be back. Thank you all

Foothills was recommended to me by a friend as I needed a pair of hiking boots. As a person who has been doing their shopping predominantly online, I was somewhat skeptical about coming in, let alone making an advance appointment. I must say, how wrong I was! My feet were elaborately measured in the shop and I realised that a pair of well-known brand boots I had my eye on in an online shop was the wrong fit for me. There is so much more to it rather than knowing your feet' size. I was taught how to look after my new boots to ensure they could be re-soled in a couple of years. These people converted me into an in-store shopper when it comes to footwear. A special thanks to Moses who helped me find my perfect pair and made my customer experience excellent.

I found this shop by chance and decided to have a look around. Whilst looking at ladies walking boots, Alex, shop assistant asked if I needed any help. I wasn't really looking to purchase a new pair but I asked for his opinion on a pair I liked. Alex suggested measuring my feet, so he could fetch a pair to try on. One and a half hours later, and after trying on numerous brands and styles, I walked out of the shop with a new pair of walking boots. My new boots resembled comfy, carpet slippers and fit perfectly. I am pleased to say my new boots have been worn on several, lengthy walks and I have had no issues with my feet. The customer service I received at Foothills was exceptional, from the advice to the fitting. I certainly would not hesitate in recommending Foothills to anyone, requiring outdoor wear. I certainly will be a returning customer.

A fantastic shop for hikers, hillwalkers and adventurers everywhere. They stock the finest range of boots you're likely to see anywhere, and the attention given to the customer is exemplary they listen to your needs, budget and plans and don't try to push products that you don't really need. I've bought what feels like the first pair of hiking boots to really fit me, and I can't wait to get on the hills with them. They offer their own fitting guarantee and will take the boots back if you find any discomfort with them before putting them to true use outdoors. Everything about the shop seems to be run with care and with the goal of providing hikers with the best equipment for them, it's got a lovely vintage feel of a place where you call at before setting off for a big adventure, unlike so many other places where they try to get you onto the latest trends and fads. Don't forget to grab a cup of the free coffee for customers!
