Boots Opticians

Find it very difficult to ever get anyone to answer the telephone. You go through the automated system, choose the department, but then it just continuously rings until cutting off. Had this problem in April so ended up having to make am 18 mile round trip. I was told then that the problem lay with the Meadowhall computer system. My new hearing aid should be ready by now- 4th May - but the phone again is not being answered. Very annoying and shows how Boots care neither for their customers nor their reputation.

Mavis is the most rude, patronising and unfriendly person i have ever come across. her attitude is disgusting, she seems very entitled and made my younger daughter extremely uncomfortable. she should not be working with the public thats for sure. next time will request another staff member or go to another boots

We had a few issues getting my young daughters high prescription glasses made from boots specialist supplier, but as soon as I was put in touch with Sophie at Meadowhall she dealt with it so quickly for us & my daughter now has her new glasses & sunglasses which are great. Thank you.

Excellent experience today, every member of staff I saw from arriving at the front desk, optometrist, consultant helping with choosing frames were all very helpful and knowledgeable. You have gained a new customer!

I have noticed the other reviews regarding no one picking up the phone. I have been trying today & called at 4 separate times, all unsuccessful indeed no one picked up. On the last call at 16.36hrs it rang through for a few minutes and the just cut off!!
